Fondue Fries

45 minutes | Serves 4 people

The cheesiest fries you'll ever taste. Seriously, these are better than any cheese fries you've had before. Why? Because of the fondue cheese!

Ingredients

  • Fondue cheese set (I got mine at Whole Foods, but you can find it at any gourmet store)
  • Frozen Waffle Fries


Instructions

  1. Begin to cook the potatoes in the oven following the instructions in the bag.
  2. Once the potatoes are more than half way done, begin to melt the cheese using a cast iron skillet.
  3. Bring the potatoes out of the oven once they are fully cooked and lightly season them with salt and pepper.
  4. Once the cheese is melted, pour 1/3 of the cheese on top of the fries.

Why just 1/3?

Well, as you know, cheese hardens very quickly! So, it is key to keep your cheese in the hot skillet and slowly pour it over your fries are you eat them.
